LEF organizes social media training for trade union leaders

Labour Education Foundation organized a two-day Social Media Training for Trade Union Leaders at Pak Heritage Hotel on November 11 and 12, 2022. Ms Mahnoor Salman introduced the participants about various so social media platforms and how these are being effectively used for trade union activism. She also informed them about the number of users of different social media platforms and their impact on public opinion as well as policy-makers.
The trade union leaders were also given awareness about the importance of social media for labour movement, how to create accounts on various platforms and how to use hashtags and other tools for making their posts effective and more noticed.
A social media group of the participants was also formed for future guidance, mutual learning and sharing their experiences.
