A Seminar to Promote Interfaith Harmony and
Rights for all citizens organized by Labour Education Foundation
On 18th November 2019, Labour Education Foundation organized a seminar to promote interfaith harmony and rights for all citizens at Pak Heritage Hotel Lahore. The members of Labour Community Organizations that were formed to protect the rights of workers and organize them, resolve the civic issues and create interfaith harmony at the grassroots level in district Lahore and Shekhupura; participated in this seminar. The program was started with the recital of prayers of different religions. Children presented a theatre performance on interfaith harmony. During the interactive session community members from all religions, prominence to promote tolerance within society. The speakers from different organization, Mr. Samson Salamat Director, Centre for Human Rights Education- Pakistan, Mr. Farooq Tariq General Secretary Pakistan Kissan Rabta Committee, Mr. Shakeel Markez Khokhar member interfaith harmony committee Punjab, Mr. Muhammad Rasheed, President Punjab, National Peace Committee Supreme Council Pakistan, Mr. Muhammad Waseem Director, Interactive Resource Centre also emphasized on serving the humanity and said that the state should protect the rights of all citizen without the discrimination of religion.
