A Seminar on Violence against Women organized by Labour Education Foundation

Labour Education Foundation has been organized a Seminar on Violence against Women on Human Rights International Day December 10, 2019 in Hotel Pak Heritage, Lahore. Chief Guest of the Seminar was Mr. Ejaz Alam Augustine, Minister of Human Rights and Minority Affairs Punjab. In his address, he focused to evaluate the effectiveness of measures adopted at national and international level along-with the coordination of private organizations to prevent and combat violence against women; furthermore he also condemn the violations being carried out in Kashmir over 128 days. The other speakers were Mr. Muhammad Shabir, General Secretary Pakistan Bhatta Mazdoor Union (Register) Punjab, Ms. Ayesha Iqbal, Member Punjab Provincial Assembly (PTI), Ms. Rukhsana Kausar, Member Punjab Assembly (PMLN), Mr. Kashif Aziz, Assistant Director Labour Welfare, Ms. Madiha Munawar, Legal Advisor Permanent Commission on the status of Women, Ms. Ghulam Fatima, Bonded Labour Liberation Front and at the end of the seminar theater performance was performed by Ms. Huma Safdar and team to highlight the menace of Violence against Women.
