Capacity Building training on “Handling the personal safety in COVID-19”

On 11th and 18th June 2020, Labour Education Foundation organized two trainings for formal and informal workers on the topic of “Handling the personal safety in COVID-19” through the webinar. The main objective was to educate the workers; how they can protect themselves from the COVID-19 pandemic. over-crowded areas and they have a weak economic situation, while in this pandemic period their economy has been gone worse; this training was designed keeping in mind the existing situation of workers. Total 73 garment and textile workers, HBWs, brick kiln workers and Community Activists attended these trainings. Most of the participants were from two districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and three districts of province Punjab. Dr Huma conducted the training, she is a renowned expert on Occupational Health and Safety. Below are the main topics discussed in the trainings.
