A seminar with Home Based Workers organized by LEF in Lahore

Labour Education Foundation (LEF) organised a seminar on 20th October, 2017 with Home Based Workers (HBWs) Union Lahore on the occasion of South Asian Day for Home Based Workers in Ahmad Town Lahore. HBWs from the sectors of stitching, stone pasting on jewelry and clothes, necklace making, lace making, zari work and press etc attended this seminar. They raised their demands that Punjab Government should constitute law for HBWs and start immediate implementation on the policy of HBWs. So that they could get all the benefits i.e minimum wage, registration in social security and EOBI etc.
