HBWs Day 20th October Celebrated in Lahore & Mardan

International Home Based Women Workers Day was celebrated on the 20th of October 2021 in Mardan and Lahore by Labour Education Foundation.

More than 70 women in Lahore and more than 80 women participated in the event. The situation of HBWs was shared that they are not earning well, all profit has been taken by the middleman. The Mardan women were happy by the law which was passed recently. They expressed that they will do more efforts for the implementation of this law.

The HBWs from Lahore emphasized the constitution of law. The HBWs from both districts emphasized and showed the solidarity with international theme HBWs Demand for the Protection of All.
