One-Day Training Workshop of
Brick Kiln Workers on Gender Equality
In coordination with The Brooke Pakistan,
Labour Education Foundation is implementing
a project with equine owners working at
brick kilns of District Sheikhupura to
protect the rights of working animals’ i-e
Donkey, Horse, and Mule. On February 16,
2022 LEF conducted one day training workshop
at Mumtaz Mahal Hotel, Farooqabad District
Sheikhupura, in which 24 brick kiln workers
including 11 female and 13 male were
participated. Basic concepts, definitions,
importance of gender equality and laws
related to gender equality were discussed by
using participatory tools.
